Finishing Specifications

Each piece of furniture, whether it be a custom commissioned work, or selected from the standard line, is made to order & finished by hand in our own work shop. Master finishers schooled in age old techniques execute their form of art on each individual piece of furniture one at a time. All colors are mixed by hand, all glazes, paint trims & sheets of gold leaf are painstakingly applied in just the right areas. If you should choose distressing, your piece will be hand distressed to recreate a look of an original antique.

You can select from one of our 'standard' finishes listed below, or custom create a unique color combination of your own. You select the color, level of distressing and patina of each piece and tell us how you envision the final presentation - executing your vision is our passion.

If custom created finishing samples are required, a flat $60.00 charge applies to each sample created.

Once an order is placed finishing chips of our standard finishes are available for review & approval. Prior to placing an order, samples can be purchased for $90.00 per sample (deductible from your first order). All courier charges are at the customers expense. A customer can submit their Federal Express or DHL account, or courier charges will be added to the final invoice.
